Wild West night a foot-stompin’ success
Published:  24 November, 2007

Wild West night a foot-stompin’ succesThe Krazy K Saloon was open for business for one night only in Blackwaterfoot last Saturday.

The Kinloch Hotel was transformed into the Wild West as cowboys and Indians from across the island joined together for some boot scooting fun.s

The hotel was packed with Rootin’ tootin’ cowboys, bar-room belles and Indian chiefs.

Organised in aid of Children in Need, funds from the ticket sales all went towards the charity. This was the latest in the occasional theme evenings put on by the hotel.

Once again the turnout and effort that the revellers put into their costumes amazed and delighted the organisers and the partygoers seemed to appreciated the foot-stompin’ music provided by out-of-retirement-for-one-night-only Funky Dunky.

Proceeds from the evening, including Dunky’s fee, are all going to Children in Need.
