This year’s Brodick poppy appeal has raised more than £1,680 for the charity.

Poppy convener, Alan Milligan said: ‘May I take this opportunity to thank all those who assisted and contributed to the Brodick poppy appeal. I must thank all the shops, CalMac staff and people who assisted me with the appeal, as well as Brodick Primary School.
