The festive season started early in Arran last weekend as a Christmas Fayre was organised by the island’s branch of Save the Children in Brodick Village Hall.

On sale were a wide variety of items perfect to be given as Christmas presents. There was also wrapping paper and Christmas decorations for those early shoppers. The hall was crowded with locals enjoying a cup of tea or coffee and the wonderful home baking. All the money raised will go towards the Save the Children charity.
