Two ‘weel-kent’ faces on the Arran ferry were recently reunited at the chartroom in Inverkip Marina.

Former chief steward George Munro MBE was celebrating a surprise 70th birthday party held in his honour by family and friends.

Pictured with Captain Ian Walker, together he and George boasted 78 years’ combined service with Caledonian MacBrayne.
