Coldplay frontman Chris Martin arrived on Arran to attend the funeral of his beloved uncle last Friday.

The 30-year-old singer left his home in London that he shares with wife Gwyneth Paltrow and their two children to attend the service in St Molio’s Church, Shiskine.

His uncle, Angus Fleming, was a well-known face on Arran. He died from cancer at the age of 55.

Coldplay’s hit song ‘Fix You’ was played to the congregation during the service.
