Ceilidh group begins new season
Published: 06 October, 2007
Arran Ceilidh Dance Group begins its 10th anniversary year in Corrie Hall on Friday, October 19, at 8pm.
Ceilidh dancing is a mixture of old time and social party dancing, usually the main event after meals at weddings in Scotland.
A group organiser said: ‘We are urging people to come along for the first night and to bring a friend or a neighbour. It is fun and on the first night it is free.’
The group meets on alternate weeks in Corrie and Lamlash.
