Twenty-one children,10 boys and 11 girls,from all seven Arran primary schools made the trip to the Magnum Centre on Thursday 9 February 2012 to take part in the North Ayrshire primary schools indoor athletic finals. 
The Isle of Arran’s rugby team are rejoicing this week after a narrow victory on Saturday took them to the top of their league. 
Over 40 folk of ages ranging from three to 60 years old danced the day away on Sunday,February 12 2012,at Arran Community Theatre in Lamlash. 
Euan Ingram won Arran’s open pool competition on Sunday night after a marathon series of games in Mac’s Bar,Brodick. 
The Drift Inn have yet to lose a game this season as they continue to dominate the Arran Pool League. 
Shiskine Golf Club’s captain Liz Kerr presented a cheque for £900 to Darryl Urquhart-Dixon of the Arran Mountain Rescue Team last weekend.
