CalMac have just announced that,subject to final inspections on the morning of Wednesday February 21,the MV Caledonian Isles ferry should be back in service on the Brodick to Ardrosssan route on Wednesday afternoon.
The 95-metre,5,000 tonne ferry hit a harbour wall in Ardrossan the previous Tuesday,February14.






A project to clear one of nature’s most destructive plants is set to begin on Arran in coming months under guidance of the Community Council. 
The bridge at Glenashdale at the south end of Whiting Bay is to be reinstated to its original condition.
An unusual new event is being planned for Arran this spring.
