After 38 years on the post, George McKechnie is hanging up his mailbag.
This Friday, October 12, he will be popping mail through Whiting Bay letterboxes for the very last time.
George started with the Royal Mail in Brodick on 20 July 1974. After five years he moved on to the Whiting Bay run and has been delivering there ever since.
