Sunday August 12 2012 was the traditional Victorian Day at Brodick Castle,and this year it was the scene of a Sherlock Holmes murder hunt.
Visitors got a taste of yesteryear at the family-themed Victorian House Party as Castle staff entered into the spirit,dressed in authentic period costume,and a dramatic murder mystery unravelled.
