Whiting Bay won the 2012 Laidler Gardner Cup in the Arran Bowls Federation Championships played at Whiting Bay Bowling Club last Thursday evening.
Trophies were presented to the season’s winners in the village hall after a buffet supper to conclude the evening.
The gents singles champion was John McConnachie of Brodick and ladies singles champion was Marette Pringle of Whiting Bay.
Pairs winners were Jim Sloss and Colin Haggarty of Lamlash. The winning rinks team was Marion Spence,Aileen Graham,Tony Butcher and John Sloss of Lamlash.
