Lorna Johnson of Lamlash has just met up with an old flame from 43 years ago.
She and Stuart McLeod were girlfriend and boyfriend in 1969. And now they are back in touch again, thanks to the Banner.
They both lived in Bridge of Weir with Stuart working in the Bank of Scotland and Lorna training as an airhostess.
Stuart told the Banner: ‘Lorna was working with British Midland, flying out of East Midlands airport, and we just drifted apart.
‘She got married and went to live in Leicester. My wife died 10 years ago, and I recently began to think about finding Lorna.’
