Fast becoming the highlight of the Southend calendar,the annual Hillbilly Golf Tournament took place at Butterhill,Kilmory on Saturday,June 2 2012.
This year participants were excited to try out the new extended six-hole course designed by Hillbilly golf experts Eddie Picken and Jon Smith.
Jon said:‘The course is much longer than before and now encompasses two fields instead of one.
‘There’s also a few little surprises on the way round to make the whole experience more enjoyable,like the optics attached to the telephone pole on the fourth fairway.’
The best round of the day for the course was Fergus Judge who finished on 32.
