The Open Gardens Model Trains exhibition at Alan and Ruth Thompson’s Lamlash home last weekend raised £535 for the Smile Train charity.
Alan established an impressive model railway at Murray Crescent 16 years ago and he and Ruth have opened their gardens for various charities several times a year ever since.
