Arran’s whisky barrels used to smoke local fish

Creelers of Arran have been smoking fish on the island for 22 years and through their Arran Smoked Products provide top quality, fresh, local produce. 

And for the first time, the wood they are using in their Brodick smokehouse also now comes from Arran.

Owner Tim James is using the shavings of old whisky casks from the Isle of Arran Distillery to smoke his fish.
