
Local ambulance staff Shirley Anderson and Neil Gillies have launched a road safety campaign to try and reduce fatalities on Arran’s roads.
Cycling on Arran could and should be a safe,relaxed and enjoyable experience,according to two local road safety campaigners.
But with over 20 cycle-related casualties attending Arran War Memorial Hospital last year and with two fatalities in recent years,local ambulance staff Shirley Anderson and Neil Gillies feel something has to be done to reduce this type of accident by encouraging all road-users to share Arran’s roads safely.
