Lamlash Burns Club annual Burns supper was held in the golf clubhouse last Saturday night.
Some last minute changes had to be made to the key speakers due to the non-sailing of the ferry and a number of principal guests being stranded on the mainland.
Retiring chairman Allan Nicol had to stay in the chair for the evening.
Young Findlay Murchie gave a recitation of To a Louse and Stewart Lambie said Grace.
The haggis was carried in by Stuart Cree, led by piper Ally Hume. Colin Hunter of Corrie addressed the haggis with aplomb and the company enjoyed a first class meal.
