Train journeys from Ardrossan Harbour to Glasgow Central could soon be a few minutes shorter for Arran travellers.
One possible outcome of Transport Scotland’s current 2014 rail review is the closure of Ardrossan Town station.
Transport Scotland is currently running a public consultation on a review of the country’s rail network.
Amongst other things,the review is looking to ‘possibly re-configure the network by reviewing the location of stations’.
